- Two NFL playoff quarterbacks will compete for the Lombardi trophy at this year's Super Bowl.
- For many QBs, a Super Bowl victory would also come with a salary bonus.
Over the next several weeks, NFL quarterbacks and their teams will compete for the sport's top prize — a Super Bowl victory.
But for many quarterbacks in the playoffs, a Super Bowl ring wouldn't be the only reward for a championship victory.
That's because many NFL players have contract incentives — or bonuses — in addition to their guaranteed salaries, that provide them the opportunity to boost their pay if they meet certain milestones throughout the season.
For example, in the last week of the regular season, Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon scored his 12th touchdown of the season — unlocking a $350,000 bonus.
Many players have incentives tied to their performance in the playoffs as well.
Here's how much extra money nine NFL quarterbacks will receive if they win the Super Bowl in Las Vegas on February 11, ranked from lowest to highest amount.
