Some companies stand out for their company culture, and Microsoft is one of them.
That's according to the newest ranking of companies from workplace culture site Comparably.
Company culture is one important component of choosing a company to work at.
"When employees understand and embrace your company's culture, they believe they are part of a team, and that their individual contributions help the company grow and succeed," FlexJobs' Rachel Pelta wrote in a blog post on the job search site. "They are motivated to do the best job that they can, making them engaged and positive employees who are less likely to quit their jobs."
Comparably looked at companies with over 500 employees to see which ones are top-rated for their global company culture. The ranking is based on employees who work at the company, whether that be in North America or somewhere else.
Microsoft placed at the top of this list based on the questions and ratings used to come up with the ranking. Other companies that were highly-rated for their company culture include HubSpot, Chegg, and RingCentral — all part of the top 10.
