Pokémon GO to reach India soon and stop getting too excited
By now you would have certainly heard about the game, Pokémon GO. The whole craze over the game has taken the world by storm although as of now the game is officially available only in US, Australia and New Zealand. Many in India have already found various tricks to start playing the game even though if you do, your phone’s privacy is on stake. But don’t you worry, we hear that the game will be launching within days in Asia and Europe.
As you are aware by now it’s an augmented reality game that brings a virtual fun finish to your physical world. As difficult a task as it sounds you only need to download the app to start playing this all consuming game. And you will find many “tutorials” online on how to play the game. The best part about the game and augmented reality in general, is that you will not need to invest in any additional gadgets like goggles to enjoy the experience.
BUT don’t get too excited about the game just as yet. Here’s why.
Biggest challenge in India will be your data connection and your data charges. Yes, both are at risk as you will always have to be connected to the internet while playing Pokémon Go, as the game is an internet-based app and also uses GPS to locate you on a virtual map. So think before you get excited to play the game as your poor internet connection can very well wreck the joy out of the game. Both pre-paid and post paid data users are likely to exceed their data limit because you are continuously consuming data while playing the game and the game needs to keep updating information and GPS so that the gamer can more accurately catch a Pokémon. And of course the popularity of the game will only make it worse for your data pack as you will most likely be addicted to the game.
So if you looking like a creepy stalker will not ruin the game for you, I am certain your internet data emptying at great speed will do the trick.
