Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to meet US President Donald Trump on his US visit from June 25-26.
The meeting gains importance at a time when Trump criticised India while pulling out of the Paris climate change deal.
The two world leaders will look to enhance bilateral ties.
Meanwhile, PM Modi said India strongly supports the Paris agreement, adding the country is willing to go beyond than what has been committed under the accord.
Besides, Modi will be in Washington and he will also engage with the Indian community.
He will look for gains in dealing with Pakistan's role in promoting terrorism and India's case for a seat at the nuclear supplier's group besides enlarging the economic relationship.
