Prime Minister Narendra Modi said there will be no dramatic change in bilateral relations with the US and President-elect Donald Trump will be inclined towards India.
Modi said he has good relations with Trump and is looking forward to work with him.
In his informal assessment after Trump’s win, Modi, who met political leaders at a dinner hosted by Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan, said there was no reason to apprehend any dramatic change in bilateral relations.
As far as India is concerned with relations with the Republicans, Modi said some Democratic administrations had been more inward looking though recent governments have been more even in their approach to India.
