Photography for amateurs has reached a maturity of late. It’s no more a childish passion, which dies down with time. Rather people from all walks of life are now choosing photography as a serious hobby. Blame it on the sedentary lifestyle; people love to capture moments and emotions. Blogging as a hobby has picked up, but stays restricted for the demand of writing skill. On the other hand, photography is easy to pursue if one is gifted with good sense of aesthetics.

And if you are one of the pursuers of this hobby and trying to figure out how to get things work, here is Nikon 3400, a camera that is build to make amateurs graduate to pro photography. Nikon D3400 perfectly fits into the bracket, where one wants to upgrade from a bridge or a point and shoot.

If you ask about technicalities, Nikon D3400 comes loaded at a good price point. With a light body, good gripping, Nikon 3400 comes with 24MP APS-C CMOS sensor, a stock from Nikon’s entry level range. However the image processor EXPEED 4 makes it different from its earlier version Nikon 3300.

Are you confused between Canon 700D and Nikon D 3400?

Having tested both of these, I would recommend the Nikon. Canon 700 D lacks in Bluetooth and is much heavier with the kit lens, so not easy to carry. Also Nikon has an image sensor format of 24MP, compared to 700D’s 18MP.

Is Nikon D3400 value for money: Yes.

Here’s the best and need for improvement listed out:

During our extensive review, we added a 70-200mm Nikkor Lens to the camera, besides the 18-55mm kit lens, which came with the camera.
Here are some of the photos we clicked through the camera. Do note none of these images have been edited.
