PHOTOS: Man Threatening To Jump Off Brooklyn Bridge

As of 4:11 p.m. EDT on Saturday, police are trying to negotiate with a man threatening to jump off the Brooklyn Bridge, ABC reports.

The bridge has been temporarily shut down in both directions.

UPDATE: As of 4:30 p.m., the man has been rescued by the police.
