Apple rolled out an update to its iPhone music app this week, which supports the launch of its new music streaming service Apple Music. But it turns out that the update didn't just add Apple Music: 9to5Mac reports that it also removed a key feature.

Home Sharing used to be an easy way to share your iTunes music around your WiFi network. If you had a music library on one device, you could share it with friends, coworkers or people you live with by allowing them to load it in their iTunes.

However, the latest version of Apple's Music app removes Home Sharing for music. You can still share videos around your WiFi network, but now you can't share music. That has upset lots of people:

Clearly, a lot of people were using Home Sharing to stream music from a desktop iTunes library to an iOS device. Now they can't do that. 9to5Mac notes that the change could be because of licensing agreements for Apple's new streaming service. It's possible that Apple is unable to let people share music that people got through its streaming service to different iOS devices.
