After the whole world, Namo fever is now hitting the Bollywood. As per the reports, the shooting for the much-awaited biopic of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will begin in August 2015. The national award winning actor Paresh Rawal would be seen playing the titular protagonist in the movie.

Paresh Rawal, who shares a close rapport with the popular leader, will also be producing the movie. Earlier, he has produced the 2012 satirical comedy OMG - Oh My God!, which opened to good numbers despite facing protests from some religious groups.

"I will start shooting the Narendra Modi biopic from August. It's a massive responsibility being an actor to portray a leader of such great stature. He knows that I am playing him in his biopic," the actor was reported saying.

"Like the way I did during my stint in playing Sardar Patel in the film Sardar, here also I have to do loads of photo reading and listen to his speeches. But I will not mimic him. I will try to capture his spirit. I know very well that I can never look like PM Modi," said Rawal, who is also a Member of Parliament from the Ahmedabad constituency.

As of now, the actor is busy promoting his movie Dharam Sankat Mein, in which he is sharing screen space with actor Naseeruddin Shah.

"It's always a joyride to work with him. It's a learning process for me. He is not only a good actor but also a good human being. I want to have timeless, truth and depth-like Naseer bhai in my career. He has always been my inspiration," he said.
