Over 115,000 people ordered the Tesla Model 3 before even seeing it

During the Tesla Model 3 reveal press conference Thursday night, CEO Elon Musk confirmed that the company received at least 115,000 order reservations before the car was even unveiled.

At least now we know they probably won't be disappointed.

Musk also confirmed several other key details about the Model 3. For starters, the base model with have a 0-60 of under six seconds, has an EPA rated range of 215 miles, autopilot technology standard, and 5-star safety in every category.

If you didn't get a chance to stop by a Tesla store in person today, orders are still being taken online at Tesla.com.
