OnePlus is making a limited edition, Star Wars-themed version of the OnePlus 5T

OnePlus is releasing a special edition, Star Wars-themed OnePlus 5T.

The device, which has so far only been listed one the company's Indian site, will be available for purchase on December 14, one day before "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" - the latest entry in Disney and Lucasfilm's multibillion-dollar franchise - hits theaters.

The phone is a standard flagship OnePlus 5T, but with a couple of tweaks: The back is painted in white, and has a red Star Wars logo at the bottom.

The company is using the Star Wars-inspired &quotStrong enough to rule the galaxy" tagline.OnePlus

There's also a nice touch on the phone's mute switch, which has been repainted in a stark scarlet colour, and the phone will apparently ship with an exclusive low-poly First Order stormtrooper wallpaper, too.

OnePlus is hosting a special launch event in Mumbai, for which fans will be able to purchase tickets this Friday, December 7, at 10AM local time.

The firm has hosted a number of these before for the launch of its new smartphones, and attendees typically have a chance to purchase the new gadgets at the venue; it looks like it will be no different this time around, but OnePlus is also teasing a "grand surprise" on its website.
