Villanova won the NCAA men's basketball championship for the second time in three years, and they did it in dominating fashion, 79-62, over Michigan.
The star of the game was Donte DiVincenzo who scored 31 points off the bench, including nine straight at one moment in the second half that helped thwart a late run by the Wolverines.
But maybe DiVincenzo's most exciting play of the night was on the defensive end. It was a clean, two-handed block as Charles Matthews went in for a dunk during a mini-Wolverines run in the second half. Michigan would later score on the possession with a pair of free throws, but the block excited the crowd just before DiVincenzo hit back-to-back threes to put the game out of reach.
Here is the play as it happened during the TBS broadcast.
But as beautiful as that play was, it was made even more stunning by Getty photographer Tom Pennington who captured the moment in four gorgeous photos.
