One awful chart that could mean trouble Chris Christie's presidential ambitions

Via Bloomberg's Joe Weisenthal, this chart could spell trouble for New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) if he decides to run for president (though his announcement is widely expected).

From the New York Fed, this chart shows economic activity in New York State, New York City, and New Jersey. And since the financial crisis, New Jersey has been a serious laggard with activity still below where it was ahead of the recession.

As of February, New Jersey had an unemployment rate of 6.2%, above the national rate of 5.5% and ranking 42 out of 50 states.
