Obama and the genius behind 'Hamilton' just dropped a sick freestyle rap at the White House
On Monday, Lin-Manuel Miranda and the cast of Broadway's Hamilton took their show on the road and performed at the White House.
During the visit, Miranda broke away from the rest of the cast to join President Obama in the Rose Garden outside the Oval Office for a freestyle rap session. Obama held up cue cards with words like "POTUS" and "carbon footprint," and Miranda had to work them all into a rap.
Which he did. Seamlessly.
"You think that's going viral?" Obama asks after Miranda drops the mic at the end of his raps. We certainly think so.
