Barely 10 days ago, the first Android smart phone from Nokia was showcased at the Mobile World Congress in Barecelona. The Nokia X has dual-SIM capabilities and has a 4-inch touch display. It runs on the 1 GHz Dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor that is supported by 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB internal storage. The phone’s design is inspired by the Lumia series (which are known for using Windows Phone OS) and will be available in an array of colours. The company claims that the phone will give the user talk time of 13.3 hours and can stay awake for 28 days in standby mode.

Nokia has introduced a ripped down version of Android on this phone that will not have any Google services on it. Even the app store is different. At MWC 2014, Nokia showcased two more phones (Nokia X+ and Nokia XL) along with Nokia X. There is no news of the other two being launched at the same time. However, we might just see a glimpse of the next two in the ‘X series’ of phones by Nokia at the event on 10 March.
