In Forbes' list of The World's Billionaires, one unexpected face crops up - the
Sadly, Farage has not become a Greek shipping magnate overnight (as far as we know), nor is he secret twin brother of the real billionaire Spiro Latsis.
Instead it appears that they were unwittingly part of a photo mix up on the publication's site.
Here's the image in question:
And below is the real Spiro Latsis - it's quite clear that, although the two do share some common features, they are not exactly doppelgangers:
However, their similarities are enough to have caught some people out on social media it seems.
He may be #Greece's 2nd richest man with $2.3bn (#Forbes), but Spiro Latsis is still a Nigel Farage doppelgänger pic.twitter.com/vth0byvt9s

A reverse Google image search throws up an article on the website for Newstalk radio in which the man in question is correctly identified as Nigel Farage.
Intrigued we continued our search for the link between Latsis and Farage. A quick search on Reuters came back with some interesting results - a number of pictures of the UKIP leader addressing a plenary session in Brussels May 25, 2005. And here I think we may have found our culprit.
Although they are not the same image, the man in the Reuters pictures is wearing the same clothes as in the Forbes picture and the exact same badge. Oh, also he's clearly identified as Nigel Farage.
And in the attached caption, the mystery behind the confusion is revealed:
British Eurosceptics deputy Nigel Farage addresses the European Parliament during a plenary session in Brussels May 25, 2005. European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso delivered a testimony on a holiday he spent last August on Greek businessman Spiros Latsis's yacht. Members of the UK Eurosceptics party want the European Parliament to censure Barroso for his vacation, saying it amounts to a conflict of interests.
So there you have it folks. It's not Spiro, it's Nigel. And on that bombshell the search for a billionaire Farage doppelganger continues.
