For this purpose, CBSE has issued a list of dos and don'ts for the candidates, out of which one is to not bring watches, pens, pencils and erasers to the exam centre. To attempt the test, pens would be provided by CBSE after candidates take their respective seats.

Other than this strange rule, male candidates are also advised to follow a dress code, allowing only light-coloured jeans, trousers and half-sleeved shirts and barring kurta-pyjamas. Students are also advised not to wear shoes and come in sandals or slippers.
Female candidates are advised not to wear dressed with big buttons or brooches and shoes with high heels.

The test, which determines candidates’ eligibility for admission in medical courses, will be taken by over 11 lakh students.
