BMW has shown a video at the consumer electronic show (CES), where one of their mean machines called the 2 series has the capability to manoeuvre and drift on a race track on its own. BMW calls it Active Assist and once turned on the car will be able to drive on its own. The current version is limited to certain scenarios and situations on road to make driving safer.

But if this is the direction we are headed in, pretty soon the car will not require its driver to manage the vehicle at all. The car will drive on its own while the driver sits back and relaxes. Ah, times (rather videos) like these get us all excited about the future of technology and its benefits. We wish we can just jump forward and see what else sweet technology will bring us. Till then let’s just enjoy this magnificent Video released by BMW.
