Newtown Massacre Survivors Are Singing At Sunday's Super Bowl
@DHochsprungTwenty-six students who survived last month's shooting rampage in Newtown, Conn., are set to perform at Sunday's Super Bowl.
The students, who will perform during the pregame show, will sing "America the Beautiful" to honor the six teachers and 20 classmates who died during the school shooting, The Daily Mail reported Thursday.
Adam Lanza opened fire at Sandy Hook Elementary last month, killing 26 people before fatally shooting himself.
He also killed his mother before heading to the school.
The NFL has very publicly supported survivors and victims' families following the shooting.
The Giants, Jets, and Patriots wrote "S.H.E.S." on the back of their helmets after the shooting and Tennessee Titans' Chris Johnson wrote the names of the 26 victims on his cleats after the massacre.
