Not all great features on Facebook come out of Mark Zuckerberg’s brain or even his team. Some of the best features of Facebook like messenger, search, video, safety check have come out of a hackathon. And Facebook for the first time gave us a peek into their own version of Shark Tank where they select the best projects that make it to our Facebook walls. The hackathons at Facebook are usually day long but some go on for about 2-3days. All participants (mostly groups) prepare their project in the given time after which the whole Facebook team votes for it and the best ones get to present it to Mark and his top team. From there the best ones are worked on to make it perfect for our Facebook wall. We are extremely impressed with the ideas from the hackathon and here are the best five features we think should make it to our FB wall.
