It was in September 2014 that Sakshi Dhoni, the wife of Indian cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni had took to twitter to share a poster of the upcoming movie made on Dhoni’s life, which was titled M.S Dhoni - The Untold Story, starring Sushant Singh Rajpoot.

Since then, barring a few pics of Sushant with Dhoni’s daughter Ziva, we have seen nothing coming out from the makers or the actor about the movie. However, the dry spell has been broken by Sushant, who released another poster of the movie on his social media.

He has captioned the poster as “The Man You Know. The Journey You Don't.” which seems apt because other than a few details, it’s relatively unknown how a football-loving boy from Ranchi became the most successful captain of the Indian cricket team.

The poster shows a young-looking Sushant, sporting shoulder-length hair and wearing a school uniform, sitting at a railway platform, with a determined look in his eyes. The poster also gives out the release date of the movie as 2nd September, which means that a large part of the shooting is over and the movie must be headed to its post-production stage.

Earlier, the poster that Sakshi had shared had said that the movie would release in 2015, but evidently, that didn’t happen. The movie has been directed by A Wednesday and Special 26 fame Neeraj Pandey, which has certainly raised our expectations.
