Neil deGrasse Tyson Supports Obama's Plan To Lasso An Asteroid

President Barack Obama wants to give NASA $100 million to figure out a way to lasso asteroids, a program that's being hotly debated in the U.S. House of Representatives.

NASA is even asking for your help to locate these asteroids.

We thought we'd ask world renowned astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson what he thinks of Obama's and NASA's asteroid retrieval initiative.

The answer? Resounding approval.

"You kind of want to know how to move asteroids around – that's a good thing to be able to do," Tyson tells us. "Because one day we're going to find one with our name on it."
