Need inspiration for a new resume? This Super Mario-inspired interactive CV will pump you up

NYC-based Robby Leonardi received overnight fame when he launched an awesome Super Mario-inspired interactive resume website on October 10, 2013. He does graphic design, animation, illustration and even programming, and wanted a unique resume so it would stand out from the crowd.

Imagine a resume where a brightly-dressed cartoon character standing in front of bright blue sky runs across grassy hills, and showcases his talent, like a Mario game? Who won’t love that?

Made using HTML, CSS and Javascript, the website uses JQuery and JQuery UI for the animations. Leonardi says he avoided Flash since he wanted his website on Apple mobile devices too.

Since the resume was picked up by social media, Leonardi had won a slew of awards for his work.
