NBC Analyst Says NHL Star Alex Ovechkin Is Acting Like A Baby In Angry Rant
Alex Ovechkin is struggling early in the season, at least by his own standards. And if you are going to be the Rob Gronkowski of the NHL, people are going to pile on when things don't go well.
In the first 19 games, Ovechkin has just 0.79 points per game which would be the lowest in his career and 47.7% less than his career-high (1.51 pts/gm) set during the 2009-10 season. And at the same time, his penalty minutes are nearly three times as high this season (0.95 pim/gm) as compared to a year ago (0.33 pim/gm).
Well, during his latest sloppy performance, NBC Sports Network analyst Mike Milbury had had enough. During the unrelenting rant, Milbury accuses Ovechkin of acting like a baby and noting that "this is a guy that makes a ton of money, he owes to his owner and to his coach [to give a better effort]"...
