India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the third world leader to feature on the wildlife show Man Vs Wild with Bear Grylls.

Bear Grylls has been on the show with many world leaders and celebrities including Roger Federar and Julia Roberts.
India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi has joined the league of world leaders that featured on the popular wildlife show Man Vs Wild. Before this, Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Barack Obama took up the challenge of wildlife adventure.
The upcoming show that will feature Modi with Edward Michael Grylls(Bear Grylls) will be aired at 9:00 pm on Monday i.e. 12 August and will telecast across 180 countries.
This comes two days ahead of India’s Independence Day on August 15.
Bear Grylls, the host of the show, has been able to lure many celebrities to take part in the show, including Roger Federar and Julia Roberts. The adventurer and television presenter was also awarded with Order of the British Empire (OBE) this year.
Here’s a glimpse of the world leaders on their adventure trip:
In his show, Modi will visit the Jim Corbett National Park with Grylls. This is dedicated to create awareness around the animal conservation and environment protection.
“For years, I have lived among nature, in the mountains and the forests. These years have a lasting impact on my life. So when I was asked about a special programme focusing on life beyond politics and that too in the midst of nature I was very excited to take part in it,” Modi said.

In a recent trailer launched on the prime minister’s wildlife experience, Modi can be seen visiting jungles and creating spears for survival against wild tigers. The world it waiting for his adventure.
American President Barack Obama
In 2016, Bear Grylls took Obama into the Alaskan Wilderness — America’s largest natural landscapes — to witness the impact of global warming and climate change in the United States. “It is heartening to see powerful men protecting the environment,” Grylls told ANI recently, looking back at the times with Obama.

Obama graces the glacier
During his time at Alaska, Obama tasted a salmon fish along with making tea from glacier water. However, he kneeled down when it came to drinking his own urine in the cold wilderness. “I suppose, in extremis, it’s something that I would do – if the alternative was death. It’s not something I’d make a habit of. And I probably wouldn’t do it just for a TV show,” Obama had said.

Russian President Vladimir Putin
Putin, who worked as an intelligence agent for nearly 16 years, has had an undeniable passion for adventure. Vladimir Putin had been the host of TV series titled "Russia, Kremlin, Putin." And, as expected, the much-feared leader had chased away bears in the wild.
"Although if a bear sees Putin – they aren’t idiots – they will behave themselves,” ET reported citing Putin’s holiday in a remote part of Siberia.
