70th Independence Day is around the corner, and while the Indian PM Narendra Modi is known to have given impromptu speeches in the past, this time, he has done what no other PM has ever attempted in the history.

Via his social media accounts, Modi’s office has invited ideas from people to help him write his speech for the occasion, by suggesting him topics that he should talk about in his speech.

In a video message, Modi appealed to Indians as that he wants that his speech to not just be his own thoughts, but of the "125 crore people of the country."

"As per the tradition, I get a chance to talk to the nation on August 15. You also would have some thoughts which you would want to be put forth from the Red Fort. I invite you to send me your thoughts which you think I should say from the Red Fort, as your Pradhan Sewak. Do write to me, give me suggestions and new ideas, I will try to convey your thoughts to the countrymen," said the message.

"I hope you will do something patriotic and something inspiring. Please share those pictures with us. Create an environment ahead of the day," he added.

If you too want to send your thoughts and suggestions to PM Modi for his speech, you can do so via the ‘NarendraModi’ official App and website ‘MyGov.in’. PMO will be taking the best inputs and those will be forwarded to the PM in his speech from the Red Fort rampant.
