Anyone who’s lived in Mumbai can vouch for the fact that Kailash Parbat has been a household name to reckon with. It’s the first place you think of for family dinners or when you’re in the mood for some comfort food.

Running a family inheritance since 1952, the Mulchandani brothers have ensured they live up to the expectations and lineage synonymous with all things chaat and chole as time passed.

Thus, after extending the restaurant’s footprints abroad with outlets in New York, Singapore and Canada, to name a few, Kailash Parbat is all ready to show its revamped side to all its patrons, with its first-ever gourmet fusion restaurant in Bandra.

The new outlet gives you a familiar vibe yet leaves parts that ask to be explored. Wall displays transport you to Paris and New York while the bar showcases intricacies of vintage Mughal architecture.

Kailash Parbat's first ever gourmet outpost serves a full service experimental bar housing a host of cocktails true to it's nature. Expect some twisted cocktails, saluting the legacy of khatta-meetha chaats, gulkand loaded paan and spicy pani puris!

A menu tastefully put together catering to every palate, introduces a new line of dishes keeping it classic yet fun. Chipotle Palak Chaat, Lolly Tuk and Cone mein Corn are renditions and re-inventions of the Kailash Parbat quintessential.

This being India's first Kailash Parbat to operate a full service bar is trying to break the mould with experimental mixes like the Sharabi Lassi, a perfect Punjabi downer and the Jeera whiskey sour, a Kailash Parbat take on the classic drink.

What's more? There’s also the iconic KP pani puri meets the toxic Long Island Iced Tea. Pair it wqith the Amritsari chole fondue, served with mini samosas and naan and you’re good to go.

Talking about the idea behind taking the restaurant to the new level, Kamlesh Mulchandani, Director, Kaliash Parbat said that it stemmed rom their belief of offering the best to their patrons. "We wanted to break the monotony and offer something unique and hence have introduced all new fusion menu and cocktails. Our house specials would however remain to be a part of the menu," he added.

While we wait to check this new offering ourselves, why don’t you go ahead and give the all new Kailash Parbat a go Trust us- you won’t be disappointed.
