Mukesh Ambani’s blockbuster Jio deal- 20% more data than other telecom players; Jio Prime membership at one time fee of Rs 99

Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani announced a gamut of announcements, expressing gratitude towards its 100 million customers added on Reliance Jio network.

He yet again disrupted the tariff plans and said “Unlimited mazza, continue hoyenga”

As the Reliance Jio freebies will come to an end to March 31, 2017, Ambani unleashed more plans. Starting April 1, Ambani announced voice calls for free.

Ambani said Jio is instituting a comprehensive process to scan all plans by all operators across India and Jio will match the most affordable tariff by all telecom operators and provide 20% more data in each of the plans.

“This is our promise. You don’t have to worry as you will get best value for money. Jio tariff plans are best in the industry. It is our promise to give better value at best price,” said Ambani.

“Our 100 million initial customers are first delivers. You are the co-founders of Jio. You showed enthusiasm to use broadband data. You are invaluable and have given best feedback,” said Ambani.

Ambani’s blockbuster announcement was the custom made Jio Prime Membership plan for current Jio customers before March 31, 2017. They can enrol for the membership for full year for nominal fee only for Rs 99. Enrolment will start from March 1 till March 31, 2017.
