Motorola unleashed its smartwatch for buyers in India last month and now we have a pricing to go along, for the much anticipated announcement. The smartwatch was first spotted with ‘coming soon’ listing on flipkart.com and now there’s a pricing which might tempt quite a few to take the smartwatch leap. Motorola has priced the Moto 360 at Rs 17,999 and expected availability falls in the space of next 10 days, which is well around the Diwali period.

Moto 360 is undoubtedly the best form of smartwatch, looking exactly like a watch. It sports a 1.5 inch IPS LCD display with Corning Glass 3 and running on Android Wear platform. It's fairly light at 49 grams and you get leather-finish strapping, giving it the whole watch look and feel. Moto 360 can accept/reject calls, help you read mails, track your fitness (steps, heart-rate etc.) and even control music. It works with any smartphone via Bluetooth 4.0 low energy, running on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and above, offering 4 GB internal storage space as well and all this booted up with a 320 mAh battery.

With Apple Watch not expected to hit Indian shores, Motorola has plenty of time to make the most of Watch’s delayed launch. Here’s how Moto 360 stacks up against the Apple Watch. With the Apple iPhone 6, 6 Plus and Samsung Galaxy Note 4 also making their way to the country for buyers, this might turn out to be the start of an exciting month.

Stay tuned for availability updates for Moto 360 in India.
