Most Americans believe community colleges are basically as good as four-year schools

Community college can be an affordable alternative to attending a four-year college. According to a recent Gallup poll, Americans also rate the quality of a community college education very similarly to that of a traditional college or university.

Perhaps surprisingly, the study found that across education levels and ages, most people ranked community colleges very closely to four-year schools.
