Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday announced Rs 80,000 Crores for the development of Jammu & Kashmir as part of the 'Sab ka Saath, Sabka Vikas' mantra of his government.

Modi stressed the need to create jobs and harness the tourism industry in the state. He addressed a public rally where he said that in the past, when people had some money, they wanted to visit Kashmir. He added that he wanted to bring those days back.

"I want to bring back the glorious days of J&K, restore tourism flow to Kashmir. The top most priority is to offer jobs to youth," he said.
