She told Business Insider the cake is made of around 33 lbs of eggs, 33 lbs of sugar, 33 lbs of flour, 33 lbs of butter, 110 lbs of icing, 44 lbs of modeling chocolate, 44 lbs of ganache, and 33 lbs of buttercream.
Mason was sponsored to make the cake. But, she told Business Insider that it would cost around $4,000 to buy the ingredients and tools needed to make the cake.
The sponge was made by a company that sponsors Mason. She then put the structure together and decorated the cake.
Mason said she didn't do a practice run. "I just went for it!" she told Business Insider. A heatwave in the UK caused Harry's face to melt, which meant she had to remake it. "I actually think it turned out better the second time around so I guess we can call the first head my practice go," she said.
This isn't her first time making these cakes, however. Mason has also made life-size replicas of actors Johnny Depp and Jennifer Lawrence, as well as of singer Ed Sheeran.
