Bran Castle, the inspiration for Dracula's lair, has just been listed on Airbnb
Nestled in the heart of Transylvania, guests will be allowed to stay in Bran Castle overnight for Halloween.
The Airbnb's host is Dacre Stoker, Bram Stoker's great grand-nephew and the author of "Dracula the Undead," which is set 25 years after the events in "Dracula."
According to a statement from Airbnb, travellers will be taken to the castle via a horse-drawn carriage before being met by Stoker for the tour.
Stoker will provide a tour of the castle and shed some light on the historical connections between the fictional Dracula character and one of the castle's most notorious residents — Vlad the Impaler.
He was the second son of Vlad Dracul, who became the ruler of Wallachia in 1436. He became notorious for his tendency to impale his enemies on spikes as a warning to others.
The lucky winners will have dinner in this spooky, candlelit dining room.
The menu contains what Dracula's guests ate in Bram Stoker's original novel; a blood-enriching meal of robber beef steak and paprika hendl chicken.
According to the house rules, no garlic or garlic-scented items will be allowed in the house and all curtains must be closed before sunrise.
After dinner, the guests will be left to sleep in these cosy, velvet-trimmed coffins in the castle's crypt. The guests will be completely alone for the night.
If you survive the night, you can celebrate with a breakfast overlooking the castle grounds and Carpathian mountains.
