Mining Major NMDC Appoints A New Head For Production Vertical

In a slew of new appointments, mining giant NMDC has appointed Pradip Kumar Satpathy as the Director of its Production vertical on December 13, 2014. Satpathy has previously served as the general manager at the company’s BIOM, Kirandul Complex in Chhatisgarh.

“He has varied experience of 31 years in the field of iron ore and copper mining. He has attended various National and International seminars and presented paper in Fragblast - International Seminar in 2012 and also attended Management Development Programmes in IIM, Ahmedabad and IIM, Kolkata,” said the company in a statement.

Prior to joining NMDC, he held key positions at Hindustan Copper Limited in Malanjkhand Copper Project. Earlier last month, NMDC had appointed Dr T R K Rao as the Director of its Commercial division on November 17, 2014.
