Michelle Obama throws monumental shade at Donald Trump by tapping microphone at rally
Michelle Obama threw some serious shade at Donald Trump - without mentioning his name - at a rally for Hillary Clinton on Tuesday.
Speaking about Clinton's ability to "get right back up" after suffering setbacks, Obama alluded to Trump's penchant for lashing out at others for his campaign's problems.
After a widely criticized performance in the first of three presidential debates, for instance, Trump blamed a "defective mic" that he suggested might have been given to him on purpose.
"See, I've watched her," Obama said at the rally in Charlotte, North Carolina. "When she gets knocked down, she doesn't complain."
"She doesn't cry foul," Obama continued, tapping the microphone for added effect. "No, she gets right back up."
However, the Commission on Presidential Debates confirmed last Friday that Trump's mic at the first debate had audio "issues."
