The
Michael Phelps and Nicole Johnson have been married since before the Rio Olympics.
Apparently they had a second wedding ceremony this weekend.
Mr. and Mrs. Phelps shared photos from the event on Instagram.
Olympian Michael Phelps just added some more gold to his collection: a wedding ring.
Though he recently admitted in a Facebook Live video that he and model Nicole Johnson have been secretly married since June, it appears that the Phelpses held another wedding ceremony at the El Dorado Golf & Beach Club in Cabo, Mexico, this weekend.
The newlyweds released two photos of the ceremony on Instagram on Sunday.
"My best friend... I love you!!" Michael captioned his photo.
The pair looked stunning for the ceremony: Michael wore a light suit and Nicole chose a fitted gown by designer Julie Vino. In the background, the Daily Mail notes, you can make out the couple's infant son, Boomer, in the arms of a bridesmaid.
Looks like Boomer also fit in some relaxation during the wedding weekend. Here he is taking a swim break with his grandmother in what appears to be the El Dorado resort's pool:
The Daily Mail also reports that Team USA swimmers Allison Schmidtt and Natalie Coughlin and pro golfer Chris Stutts attended the wedding.
Stutts and his date posted an Instagram from the rehearsal dinner at a local taco stand, according to the Daily Mail:
Michael's wedding party also included former NFL player Ray Lewis, who played for Michael's hometown team, the Baltimore Ravens.
Ryan Lochte either wasn't invited or declined to show up - instead, he went to a Halloween party dressed as the mad hatter.
Last Thursday, Michael hosted Facebook Live video during which viewers asked him about his relationship with Nicole. When another viewer asked why the couple kept their marriage secret, he had a simple answer: "Why is it a secret? Just because. Got to always have something, guy."

And now that the wedding is public, the family may soon be growing: In that same video, Michael hinted that another baby could arrive soon.
"Baby number two may be coming soon," he said. "Who knows though."
