Imagine, if there was a robot to take care of you - it would cook chicken tikka and mutton rogan josh for you. When you would return home exhausted after work, the robot would make you cold coffee and serve you risotto. It's no longer a dream. Meet this robotic chef Created by UK-based Moley Robotics, that can whip up professional quality meals in a matter of minutes in an automated kitchen.
The robot features two fully articulated hands made by the Shadow Robot Company, whose products are used in the nuclear industry and by NASA. The dextrous hands are able to faithfully replicate the movements of a human hand, cooking up Michelin-starred delicacies with all the skill and flair of a master chef.
The best part as pointed out by Mark Oleynik, the founder and CEO of Moley Robotics, is that you’ll be able to use the kitchen in either its automatic or traditional setting. The advantage of such an approach is that you can prepare a dish yourself when you feel like it, or a user can record a cooking process so next time when he or she doesn’t feel like cooking, the robot can recreate the same dish.
With crowd funding in progress, Moley is now trying to develop a robot chef that can be easily integrated into people's homes for everyday use.

"If you can make the right model, the robot does not make mistakes. So it's fun for humans to make a creative process and keep the boring process for the machine," said Oleynik.
