Anshul Ambani
The latest brother to enter the board is Anshul who has been a regular at AGMs for many years now. Anshul is 24 years old has joined the group in January this year. He is an undergraduate who did his Bachelor Business Administration course from the New York’s Stern School of Business. In this regard, his education history resembles his uncle, Mukesh who could not finish his MBA course at Stanford, as he joined the rapidly expanding Reliance Industries in the late 70s.
“Anshul has been actively involved in all operations of Reliance Infrastructure, including a special focus on the defence business, working closely with the group chairman and with Punit Garg, executive director and CEO. Anshul is also a conservationist and committed to sustainable development,” said a company press release.
Isha Ambani
Isha Ambani who is recently married into yet another top business families--of Piramals has been active in her role at Reliance Industries. The 27 year old who is known to have inspired her father, Mukesh into starting his telecom venture Jio. When she complained of Internet speeds, he realised that the country is in need of them.
Like her cousins, the Stanford MBA graduate holder is a director at Reliance Infocomm which is Jio, and Reliance Retail. Apart from the business itself, Isha works towards empowering women and encouraging digital adoption.
Akash Ambani
Akash Ambani is Isha’s twin brother is the chief of strategy at Jio. Like his siblings and cousins, he has an Ivy league education up his sleeve. Akash graduated from Brown University and within four days of his graduation, started working at his father’s company.
In addition to his work, Akash is known for his love of sports who collects and owns Arsenal jerseys and other memorabilia. He is also the co-owner of IPL sports team, Mumbai Indians and is seen working on team strategy and other activities along with his mother, Nita Ambani.
Anant Ambani
The 24-year old Anant Ambani who is well known in social media for his dramatic weight loss is yet to make his debut officially in the family business. But the Brown University graduate who spend a major part of his life at Jamnagar, is actively involved in social activities along with his mother. He is also a regular at the team’s IPL matches along with his brother.
Anant Ambani was also appointed as a member at a committee of the holy shrine, Badrinath Kedarnath in Uttarakhand.
