Watch this Indian man set a Guinness record for the most hugs given in one minute

Here’s something to think about- how many hugs can you (or want to) give in a minute? If you ask me, I’d say none.

But if you’re Krishna Kumar, the latest record holder of the most hugs given in a minute, the answer would be a whopping 79!

On March 5, Krishna Kumar from India set out to make a record for the most number of hugs given in a minute. He managed to give out 79 hugs in under 60 seconds at Rock Town in LB Nagar at Hyderabad.

His feat was acknowledged by Guinness Book of World Records, who even uploaded a hilarious video of him during the cumbersome process.

In the video, Kumar is seen standing with his hands outstretched for a hug and a long line of kids stand in front of him to get their chance of hugging him. Understandably, this makes for one fun sight!

While he did manage to set a new record, many have questioned his way of hugging the 79 people and some even suggested alternate ways of beating this new record, which was surprisingly also encouraged by the Guinness administration.
