Isn't it too difficult to believe that a salesman who earns a salary of Rs 1,200 is a crorepati? Suresh Prasad Pandey who resides in the southern state of Madhya Pradesh has been charged with a disproportionate assets case after officials discovered properties and gold ornaments worth crores.
The seized items included a double-barrel gun and four vehicles - a Bolero, an Alto, Activa bike and a Honda Shine motorcycle.
The raids were led by two Lokayukta officials, Surendra Singh and Devesh Pathak, and they revealed that the salesman owned properties worth more than 200 times his total earned salary.
Several documents seized also revealed Pandey had as many as eight bank accounts, including those in the name of his wife and son.
What has this world come down to!
