Citi India has roped in
Samiran Chakraborty as its new chief economist for India after Rohini Malkani quit the bank in April this year. He was earlier working as MD and head of
Macro Research for
South Asia at Standard Chartered Bank.
Besides this, Chakraborty has also worked with
ICICI Bank as chief economist and Delhi School of Economics as faculty for mathematical Economics and open-economy macroeconomics.
