In 2009, a tiny startup called UberCab was founded; today, it's just called Uber, and it has more than 6,000 employees worldwide.

Uber is rumored to be worth as much as $60 billion, making it the most valuable private tech company in the world.

Where are Uber's earliest employees now?

Many still work at Uber, including former intern Austin Geidt, who was made head of global customer support this week.

Others have left to pursue other startups and related ventures.
