Maruti Suzuki's Baleno sells more than Hyundai's Elite i20 in December

Maruti's premium hatchback 'Baleno' sold more than Hyundai's 'Elite i20' in December. Maruti Suzuki sold 10,572 Balenos compared to 10,379 Elite i20s industry body Siam said. In November however, Maruti sold 9,074 Baleno as against 10,074 Hyundai Elite i20s.

Maruti is all set to challenge it’s Korean arch rival in the SUV category as well. Hyundai is currently going strong with the newly-launched 'Creta'. However, Maruti will soon launch the new 'Vitara Brezza' at the Delhi Auto Expo next month that looks to take the Creta head on.
