Markets Are On A Tear Right Now

Quick update.

Putin is talking right now about Ukraine (follow here) and there's a sense in the market that tension is receding.

For example, he says he has no plans to add Crimea to Russia. But he still insists on Russia' right to intervene.

Anyway, the markets are liking the news.

Stocks are surging. Below are US futures. Germany is up 2%. The ruble is surging. Russian stocks up 5.7%. Gold is tanking.
