Market Are Tanking

After spending much of the morning moving sideways, U.S. futures have taken an ugly turn for the worse.

Dow futures are down 43 points.

S&P futures are down 4 points.

With economic data getting stronger, economists have increasingly raised the probability that the Federal Reserve may begin tapering its quantitative easing program.

Some strategists have warned that an earlier than expected taper would be bearish for stock in the near-term as it would represent the removal of liquidity from the financial markets.
