Najib Razak, the former Prime Minister of Malaysia, has been arrested in a corruption investigation.
The former leader lost a re-election bid earlier this year after facing financial scandals related to Malaysia's state investment fund 1MDB, which is missing billions of dollars
He has denied any wrongdoing.
Police seized $273 million worth of jewelry, handbags, watches and other items from six of Najib's properties as part of the investigation last month.
