Mahindra’s Scorpio is the highest selling SUV ever in India

Mahindra Scorpio seems to be a hot favourite among the sports car connoisseur! Having performed quite well in the SUV segment, scorpio has crossed the 50,000 milestone in unit sales in fiscal 2015.

This is for the 4th consecutive year, Mahindra has achieved the accolade.

In a news report by The Economic Times, Mahindra & Mahindra today announced that the company has sold 51,553 units in FY15, being the highest ever annual sales for the brand since its inception. The launch of the new generation Scorpio in September 2014 contributed significantly to the brand's performance in terms of both volume and markshare.

The ET report further says, the Scorpio's iconic status can also be gauged from its 3 million plus fan base on Facebook, and the online community is one of the largest online auto communities on Facebook in India, according to the statement released by the company.
