Lyft is now available in its first international city: Toronto.
The ride-hailing service announced Monday it will start offering service in Toronto by the holidays, though it didn't specify an exact date.
"We've been looking forward to taking our brand of ridesharing international for some time, and we're super pumped to share this with our close friends up north," the company wrote on its blog.
Lyft has been around since 2012, but up until now, has only been available in the US. Lyft's chief rival, Uber, is already available throughout the US, Canada, and in several more countries internationally.
