Majority of the candidates nominated by the Congress Party to contest in the Lok Sabha elections in Uttarakhand hold law degrees. Many of them with law degrees have graduated from the Kumaun University. In Hardwar, the party has fielded Ambrish Kumar. Pritam Singh will fight from Tehri Garhwal seat. Harish Rawat, the former chief minister and the general secretary of AICC will contest from Nainital-Udham Singh Nagar constituency. All of these candidates hold law degrees. Pradeem Tamta, the party’s candidate for the Almora constituency has also holds a Masters degree in Arts and LLB from Kumaun University. Manish Khanduri, who will fight for the party from Pauri has an MBA degree.
