However, once we logged in to Tevarbook, we were amazed to see Arjun and Sonakshi on our Facebook timelines, commending our profile pictures, cover photos and being as goofy as they could be.
While exiting the timeline, they asked us to wait for the trailer of their upcoming movie Tevar, which releases today.
So, now we know for sure that the role Facebook plays in the lives of Indian youth has forced the makers to plan their marketing campaigns accordingly.
As we all know, Facebook has more than a 100 million users in India, and it is turning to be an amazing platform for moviemakers to promote their movies, but this kind of promotion is unheard of as of yet, and we appreciate the thought behind this.
Another digital campaign for Tevar is being done in the form of the hashtag #Tevarrific, a word play on Tevar and terrific. This again is a thoughtful step, and we are sure that taking cue from this, many movies in the future would include Facebook in their promotional campaigns.
